The decision to have your animal friend’s portrait made should be easy, but choosing how you want to preserve these memories may not be. When you choose me as your photographer you can be sure that your animal will be treated with kindness and you’ll receive the finest service and quality. I am proud to offer several collections that will portray your animal friend as magnificent as they are.

All sessions take place at your home or a location of your choice. Travel fees are $.50 per mile and are based out of Monkton, Vermont.

I offer your choice of natural and studio lighting options. It surprises many people that, in my experience, most animals remain calm with studio strobes. There are some animals, however, who are fearful of them. It’s hard to tell before we try though - sometimes an otherwise confident dog will flinch while a shy kitty will bask in the glow.

Providing a fun and safe session is of utmost importance. I come prepared with high quality USA made treats, clean toys, shiny things, and a few other tricks for when those things don’t seem too interesting to the subject.

If you’re looking for a different, more tactile, way to build a lasting memory, consider a set of 10 loose portraits, printed on luscious paper and wrapped in a fine paper cover. The prints, while worthy of framing for the wall, lend themselves uniquely to being held and admired at close distance. Keeping the prints loose enables you to create your own story each time you sit down with the set.
